At Christmas we put Canceaux Turbeaux over cream cheese with triscuits. Can I say YUMMY! This is Blue Blaze over cream cheese as a snack. It is addictive!! Living in Louisana I love spicy. I never cared for Tabasco or Louisiana Hot Sauce. I love that I discovered the Captain on my 1st trip to Main this fall. I am hooked on the Captain 😋⚓❤
Purchased this sauce in Maine when on vacation and was in love with the flavor and spice immediately and thank goodness they sell online! I use for dunking anything grilled in it, especially wings and blue cheese!

I mix this with olive oil and add chia and flax seeds (whole & crushed) and dip fresh vegetables in it. The chia & flax help to keep the oil & sauce mixed. It's my go to afternoon snack! Works great with all the hot sauce flavors.
I gave some to friends, and don’t have their opinions yet. But, they love hot sauce, so I don’t think they will be disappointed. It’s good stuff! I would suggest putting the plastic lid with the limited drops that you can cover your food with. You definitely can add too much if you’re not careful. Really good stuff!

The Blue Flame is absolutely delicious. Very mild heat, but loads of Maine blueberry flavor. It’s a thicker, syrupy sauce (but not like maple syrup). You can tell the fruit pectin is in tact. Highly recommend trying. Other than the usual, it’s also excellent on vanilla ice cream!

This is one of my favorite hot sauces. It's absolutely delicious. It's a little thinner in consistency than some of the other Mowatts sauces but it doesn't matter.
I thought the Boston Red Sauce and the Maine Black Beary were the best hot sauces on the planet until the Blue Flame arrived. Blueberries are my favorite fruit and I was totally psyched to try Captain Mowatt’s creation! I’m using it on salads! The most amazing hot sauce(s) I’ve ever tasted. We Blue Flame - it makes the perfect topping on vanilla or mint chip ice cream. The fruity spice is such a nice counterbalance to the cold creamy. It also is great on the more typical burrito.
